Hey! my names Rachel, and the mountain country music fest was awesome!!! there wa soo much to do adn they never had a gap on stage where there was no one playing!! over all it was just a really great experience!

sorry I didn't get a chance to get back to you yet. I haven't had a chance to log onto here for awhile now. :] thanks for the comment though. :]

im doing well.. and yes it is a very long drive to go see her.. I saw her in Saginaw in March which is about a 2 hour drive.. wasn't to bad.. Where is Zeeland at? I don't think I have ever heard of it. I used to live in Grand Rapids actually! I worked at The Disney Store at the mall. I miss it down there lots...

Yes, I think it means a lot to Carrie to have a lot of Christian fans and for them to spread God's word with other Carrie fans too. And yes, we're supposed to reflect Christ's image as much as we can.

It's me, i dont know what else to say.
you can call me Jeff, Jeffrey, GWRF (gwarf), Mr. Underwood, whatever else you want.
i live in Zeeland, MI

First, and foremost, i love Jesus Christ. And everything i love under Him. and i base all my other loves on the love of Christ. And thats the number 1 reason i love Carrie. She loves Jesus and doesnt forget that. My favorite song that she sang is "How Great Thou Art" It was very very moving to her that. (i actually tried to get my pastor to allow us to play her version in the beginning of Church. We already play other Christian Artist songs. I am good friends with the sound man, who is also a huge Carrie fan. But my pastor said no. I still love him though.) i pray for Carrie everyday that she does stay her down home country God fearing girl. To stay that sweet Okie from Muskogee.

a little story of how i fell in love with Carrie. Well from the beginning of American Idol 1, i hated it. Because i am pure Country and at that time really didnt like Pop music. So, by the time season 4 came around, i didnt watch a single episode, so i didnt really know about Carrie. i heard about here a little from the Country stations mentioning this country girl on AI. But i really didnt care. Personally, i didnt like when the country DJs talking about AI, a pop show. When, she won and really heard a lot about her and heard that she was going to make a Country record. Well, i really didnt like Carrie then. Thinking that she is getting a record deal with AI producers, which is really pop. So, i was afriad of Carrie making a Pop Country record. And bringing pop into Country. (And i am sorry, i have to admit, i didnt like pop fans either. I love country fans because they like the music more than the artist and pop fans like the artist more than the music. So, i didnt want that my Country)
Well, i didnt give Carrie a chance. i didnt even look that she was making her record in Nashville with Nashville producers. i didnt even know that over 10 years ago she was in Nashville and had a Country record demo. So, i didnt really know she was pure Country. When "Jesus, Take the Wheel" came out i thought it was good because it sounded Country and mostly because of the message and she brought the name of Jesus in Country.
About a year later, (i think Carrie was finally getting to me) i couldnt stop hearing of her because she was all over Country music. Well, i was at my annual Thanksgiving bowling in 2006 and Carrie was singing during halftime of the Cowboys game. And, i was watching and enjoying without making it known. I clearly remember my brothers comment. He was disappointed that she has turned away from Godly songs. With "BHC and Y&B" and i think i made a comment like 'whatever' and inside i was really taking offense of what my brother said. Wanting to really defend Carrie.
That is the first time i can recall liking Carrie. i would have been a huge fan of her before, but i dont know why i havent. i was just holding it in and hiding it from everyone. So, i think i have been a big fan since a year ago or so. and i realized totally obsessed since last december 07. And now i am not afraid of showing it at all. And i totally stand up for her and when someone says she is hot or fine. i say, stop degrating her and objectifying her. I say she is beyond beauty.

And yes, i have changed since then. i do watch AI a little and dont hate it. I have to respect it because if it wasnt for AI then we wouldnt have Carrie. I am a huge Country music fan and remember my comment about the fans. Well, i have broken that, yes, i love Carrie more than her music. She is such a wonderful person. And i dont care what she says that her life is not interesting. Yes, she is very interesting.

one story i really regret where i had a chance to see Carrie, in June 06. my sister is a HUGE Deirks Bently fan. (fandorium runs in the family0 well, she had great tickets for the Chesney concert in Grand Rapids, MI where, Deirks and Carrie opened up for him. and she had some extra tickets and asked me if i wanted them. for some innate, adacidely ultimate stupidity excuse i said no. it still regret that to this day. i serves me right for hating Carrie to start off.
